These are not shots of the property. The films were made by the Costa Rican tourist board Visit Costa Rica and other creators; they are here to give a sense of the country and its setting. Photographs of the project itself are in the photo gallery.

What you will see in the videos
Costa Rica occupies 0.03 % of the Earth's surface, yet accounts for 6 % of the world's biodiversity. More than 25 % of its territory is national parks and protected areas — and it is through these that most of the footage travels: cloud forests, tree canopies, waterfalls and the coasts of both oceans.
The Rio Ángel bio-reserve lies in Puntarenas province near the village of Caňas, at the foot of the Cordillera de Talamanca. The country's highest peak, Cerro Chirripó (3,820 m), and the Pacific beaches at Uvita and Dominical are within a day trip — as are the Nauyaca waterfalls and the turquoise Rio Celeste, which you will recognise in the films.
It is also one of the few countries in the world without an army — it abolished it in 1949 and moved the money into education and healthcare. Its electricity comes largely from renewable sources. All of that is why tourists return here all year round, and why demand for property has been rising steadily.
